On October 17, President Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev signed the Law on Patronage. The law will regulate relations in the field of philanthropy, as well as attract financial assets to the sphere of culture and art.
The Art and Culture Development Foundation under the Ministry of Culture is the initiator and developer of the law. We have involved the Louvre Museum and the French Ministry of Culture in the working group on the creation of the document.
In the process of implementing the second stage, the Foundation will develop a draft regulatory act that will determine in detail the amount of tax benefits provided to patrons, as well as the procedure for their provision. In addition, intangible incentives for patrons will be regulated - in the form of state awards and perpetuation of their names.
