The Art and Culture Development Foundation under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Tourism Development Committee, with the support of the city administration, have commenced an installation of road signs for museums in Tashkent. 16 road signs have been installed indicating routes to Aybek House Museum and the Museum of Applied Arts in Tashkent. 13 road signs are currently being installed throughout the city. In addition, the project for the installation of sidewalk signs will be implemented in June.
It is important to note that until the commencement of the installation process, the Foundation has conducted research on international standards for the installation of road and sidewalk signs along with an in-depth study of the intended sign locations for institutions operating under the Ministry of Culture.
